President’s Message
(ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರ ಸಂದೇಶ)
ಆತ್ಮೀಯರೇ..
ನ್ಯೂಯಾರ್ಕ್ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲು ನನಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿರುವುದು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿಮಾನ ತರುವವಿಷಯ. ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಅಚಲ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲ ಹಾಕುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶ್ರಮ ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ನೀವೆಲ್ಲ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮಗೆಲ್ಲ ತುಂಬು ಹೃದಯದ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನುಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ನ್ಯೂಯಾರ್ಕ್ ನ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದು ಗೌರವದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಈ ಹಿಂದಿನಸಮಿತಿಗಳು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ.
ಸಂಘದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಬದರಿ ಅಂಬಾಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಎಲ್ಲ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿಮ್ಮಸಲಹೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಸದಾ ಚಿರ ಋಣಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ ಮತ್ರು ಪರಂಪರೆಯನ್ನು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲು ನಮ್ಮ ನೂತನ ಸಮಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಯಂಸೇವಕರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹಭರಿತರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ವಿಚಾರ ಧಾರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ನೀಡಿ, ಎಲ್ಲರನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿ, ಸಮಾನತೆಯನ್ನು ಉಳಿಸಿಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಲು ನಾನು ಕಾತುರನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಏಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಗುಣಾತ್ಮಕ ಮತ್ತುಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೊದಲ ಆದ್ಯತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಬಲವರ್ಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಏಳಿಗೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ಜೊತೆ ಸೇರಿ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ನಾನು ಎದುರುನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ಯಾಗದಿಂದ ನಾವು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಎನ್ನುವವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ನನಗಿದೆ.
ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ನ್ಯೂಯಾರ್ಕ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನುಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಮುಂದೆ ಸಾಗೋಣ.

I am deeply honored and grateful for the opportunity. Your unwavering support and dedication to our community has truly inspired me. Thank you for your continued support and faith in our organization, your tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to our shared goals. It is an honor to serve KKNY and I am committed to continue upon the incredible foundation you all have created.
I extend my sincere gratitude to my predecessor, Badari Ambati and all previous presidents with respective executive committees for their leadership and guidance. Our new Executive committee and volunteers are all excited and ready to serve making significant impact on our Kannada Koota activities uplifting our cultural heritage.
I am excited to work alongside each of you to achieve our shared vision for a more equitable, healthy, culturally rich future of KKNY. Our priority is to ensure that we continue to serve our community effectively and efficiently!

Our Vision & Achievements (ನಮ್ಮ ದೃಷ್ಟಿ ಕೋನ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು)
ನಾವು ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟ ನ್ಯೂಯಾರ್ಕ್ ಅನ್ನು ಜೀವಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ತಾಣವನ್ನಾಗಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ತಮ್ಮ ಮೂಲಗಳನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಯುವಜನರಿಗೆ – ಗೊಂಬೆ ಹಬ್ಬ, ಕೋಡಿಂಗ್ ವರ್ಕ್‌ಶಾಪ್‌ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಯುವಸಾರಥಿತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶನದ ಮೂಲಕ ತಲುಪಿಸದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಕಲಾವಿದರು, ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ಸಂಗೀತಕಾರರು, ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲು ವೇದಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಪ್ರವರ್ಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸಾತ್ಮಕ ಅನುಭವಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಯಾವುದೇ ವಯೋಮಿತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ನಾವು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಿ ಬೆಳೆಸಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

Youth Find Their Roots – Through cultural immersion programs like Gombe Habba, coding workshops, and youth-led initiatives, we ensured younger generations remain connected to their heritage.
Artists & Entrepreneurs Thrive – Providing a stage for musicians, performers, and community businesses to showcase their talents and gain support.
All Ages Feel Welcomed – From cultural celebrations to wellness initiatives and adventure experiences, we fostered a space for everyone to engage and grow together.
Key Milestones & Initiatives (ಮುಖ್ಯ ಹಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಗಳು)
ಸಮುದಾಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ - ಪರ್ವತಾರೋಹಣ, ಇತರ ವಿನೂತನ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಿಂದ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಬಲಮೂಡಿಸುವುದು.
ಯುವ - ಸಾಹಸೋತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು – ಯುಗಾದಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಕೈಂಕರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಮಿತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹ ನೀಡುವುದು.
ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ – ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಕೇರ್ ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಂದ ಹಿರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಸಂಪತ್ತು ತಲುಪುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವುದು.
Community Building – Outdoor adventures like hiking, sailing, and rock climbing created stronger bonds within our community.
Leadership & Volunteerism – Enrollment in the US Presidential Service Awards program encouraged youth recognition and mentorship.
Senior Engagement & Wellness –
Reddy Care Wellness Sessions helped seniors access health resources and preventive care.
Pilgrimage Travel Initiatives provided enriching experiences through temple tours and spiritual retreats.
NYC Trolley Bus Tours fostered fun and engagement among seniors.
Cause-Driven Collaborations – Supporting Sudha Acharya’s Women’s Employment Initiative, cybersecurity awareness, and Indian clothing donation drives.
Bridging Karnataka & New York – Hosting celebrated artists like Dr. Pravin Godkhindi, Dr.Sanjay Shantharam, Savithakka, Soorya Gayathri, Layatharanga Team, Khan Brothers, Yakshagana performances, and community events that brought our heritage to life.
A Platform for New Initiatives – Kannada Koota NY has been instrumental in launching various community-led programs, including:
Wanna Chat – A safe space for open conversations and meaningful discussions.
Unified Care – A holistic support system addressing community wellness and assistance.
Bhavykya Lahiri – A unique initiative fostering creative arts and literature.
Youth-Led Webinars – Interactive learning sessions empowering young leaders.

ನಾವು ನಡೆದು ಬಂದು ಯಶಸ್ಸು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ ಈ ಹಾದಿ ಮುಂಬರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕಾರಿ ಸಮಿತಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯವಾಗಿ ಕನ್ನಡ ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಎತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ಎಂಬ ಹಾರೈಕೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಮನಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ
